Green Sea Glass Barrette, vintage Made in France clip

Handmade of polymer clay using translucent clay to give the appearance of sea glass. This clay was tinted with pulverized green pastel and gold glitter.
The back is fully reinforced with clay. This makes a solid barrette that cant come off the clip and gives very strong grip to all types of hair. Different widths of barrettes can be made using this technique. Matching pendant necklaces are listed as well.
This barrette measures 3.75 inches x 0.75 inches. The clip measures 2.75 inches.

The base of my barrettes are vintage Made In France clips, they were purchased many years ago. Thankfully I ordered many I just learned that they are no longer made, the company closed. This is what I found on a barrette form site when I was looking for a different size.
"Notice: Regarding MADE IN FRANCE barrettes....This is an end of life product. Factory has closed. The barrette blanks that have "French" in the title are are made in France will all be stamped "made in France" They have only two parts to them, the barrette back and the hinged clip. Chinese copies are often sold as a "french clip" but they will not have the "made in France" stamp on them. You will find the Chinese version also have three separate parts, they tend to break and are made of a weaker steel. "
